Menios Pasialis
Γεννήθηκε στο Sydney της Αυστραλίας και σε ηλικία 11 ετών μετακόμισε στην Ελλάδα.
Μετά από δυο χρόνια σε ηλικία 13 ετών αποφάσισε να ασχοληθεί με τη μουσική.
Παρόλα που ξεκίνησε με την κιθάρα, τα Drums ήταν αυτά που τον κέρδισαν στο τέλος, όπου και γίνονται το μεγαλύτερο πάθος του.
Από τα 16 του άρχισε να παίζει ερασιτεχνικά σε διάφορους χώρους, ενώ από τα 18 του άρχισε να ασχολείται πλέον επαγγελματικά.
Σπούδασε στο R.S.I. (Rhythm Section Institute), από όπου αποφοίτησε με άριστα, ενώ παρακολούθησε σεμινάρια με ορισμένους από τους μεγαλύτερους drummers του κόσμου όπως : Dave Weckl, Jojo Mayer, Dom Famularo ,Thomas Lang, και πολλοί άλλοι.
Στα χρόνια της μέχρι τώρα επαγγελματικής του πορείας έχει συνεργαστεί σε live εμφανίσεις και συναυλίες στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό με τους μεγαλύτερους Έλληνες καλλιτέχνες και δημιουργούς.
Είναι μέλος (Drummer) του group Y.F.G (Yiorgos Fakanas Group) όπου έχει συμπράξει με το συγκεκριμένο group με κάποια από τα μεγαλύτερα διεθνή ονόματα της παγκόσμιας μουσικής σκηνής όπως οι: Andre Nieri (Guitar player), Bob Franceschini (Sax player), Guthrie Govan (Guitar player), Miso Iossifov (Trumpet player), Mike Stern (Guitar player), Steve Weingart (Piano/key players), Stu Hamm (Bass player), Tony Lacatos (Sax player), Tim Garland (Sax player). Αλλά και με κάποιους από τους κορυφαίους μουσικούς της χώρας του όπως οι: Αντώνης Αντρέου (Trombone player), Γιώργος Φακανάς (Bass player), Γιούρι Γιατάκης (Guitar player), Δημήτρης Σεβδαλής (Piano/key players), Μπάμπης Μαρκουλής (Bass player),Τάκης Πατερέλης (Sax player), Χρήστος Πικριδάς (Guitar player), David Lynch (Sax player), Samuel Marlieri (Sax player), και άλλοι.
Το 2018 κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο του προσωπικό Album με τίτλο ‘’Expectations’’ όπου περιέχει 8 tracks.
Από το 2018 επίσης ηγείται και της δικής του μπάντας ‘’Menios Pasialis Band’’
Είναι καθηγητής Drums εδώ και 20 χρόνια, απ τα οποία τα τελευταία 5 είναι στο Ωδείο τέχνης Φακανά, ως καθηγητής αλλά και ως υπεύθυνος στο drum department του Ωδείου.
Eπίσης είναι καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του Athens Drum Festival
αλλά και ιδρυτής του.

Menios Pasialis
Born in Sydney, of Australia at the age of 11 he moves to Greece and 2 years later he decided to get into the music.
Although he started by playing the guitar, it was the drums that gained him in the end. Since then, drums are his greatest passion.
At the age of 16 he started playing drums amateurishly with groups but from the age of 18 he deal with it professionally.
He studied in R.S.I. (Rhythm Section Institute) - Athens for 5 years, from where he graduated with “Excellence” in 1996.
He has attended various clinics with great drummers such as : Dave Weckl, Jojo Mayer, Dom Famularo ,Thomas Lang, and more.
In his professional career, he has been cooperated in live performances, and concerts with some of the most highly regarded singers and/ or composers in the music industry of his country.
He is a member (Drummer) of Y.F.G ‘’Yiorgos Fakanas Group’’ and has collaborated with this band with some of the greatest musicians in the world such as: Andre Nieri (Guitar player), Bob Franceschini (Sax player), Guthrie Govan (Guitar player), Miso Iossifov (Trumpet player), Mike Stern (Guitar player), Steve Weingart (Piano/key players), Stu Hamm (Bass player), Tony Lacatos (Sax player), Tim Garland (Sax player). But also with some of the greatest musicians in he’s country such as: Antonis Andreou (Trombone player), Yiorgos Fakanas (Bass player), Yuri Yiatakis (Guitar player), Dimitris Sevdalis (Piano/key players), Babis Markoulis (Bass player), Takis Paterelis (Sax player), Christos Pikridas (Guitar player), David Lynch (Sax player), Samuel Marlieri (Sax player), and more.
The year 2018 he released his first personal album in titled ‘’Expectations’’ with 8 tracks in it.
The year 2018 he also started leading his own band ‘’Menios Pasialis Band’’
He has been a teacher for 20 years now, and for the last 5 years he's teaching but also in charge of the drum department at Yiorgos Fakanas Art Music School in Athens Greece.
He is also the Artist director of the Athens Drum Festival and the founder of it.

For me the drums and music in general, is a permanent desire for something new, a non-stop challenge, a permanent bond of love, but above all it is an expression of soul.
