Dimitris Antoniadis
Ο Δημήτρης Αντωνιάδης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1975.
Σε ηλικία 11 ετών άρχισε να ασχολείται με τα ντραμς όπου του κέρδιζαν πάντα την προσοχή.
Σε ηλικία 15 ετών άρχισε να κάνει μαθήματα στο Ωδείο Φίλιππος Νάκας με τον Νίκο Αντύπα και τον Σπύρο Παναγιωτόπουλο για 5 χρόνια.
Στα χρόνια που έρχονται συμμετείχε σε διάφορες μπάντες και εργάστηκε σε διάφορους χώρους της ελληνικής μουσικής σκηνής μέχρι τα 24 του όπου κερδίζει σε εξετάσεις υποτροφία για το Berklee College of Music της Βοστώνης .
Ολοκληρώνει τις σπουδές του στο Berklee μετά από δυο χρόνια έχοντας δουλέψει πάνω στα Ντραμς αλλά και στη μουσική γενικότερα με τούς, John Ramsay, Dave Dicenso, Charles Haynes, Jon Hazilla, Ed Kaspik, Bob Tamagni, Steve Wilkes, Skip Hadden, Richard Flanagan)
ενώ παράλληλα παρακολούθησε και σεμινάρια με τους, (Louis Nash και Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts).
Με μια βαλίτσα γεμάτη γνώση και εμπειρία παίζοντας με μεγάλους μουσικούς πάνω σε διάφορα στυλ μουσικής όπως (Jazz, funk, fusion αλλα και Big band),παίρνει το εισιτήριο της επιστροφής για την Ελλάδα όπου αρχίζει η επαγγελματική του δραστηριότητα παίζοντας με πολλούς καταξιωμένους Έλληνες καλλιτέχνες, συμμετοχές σε πολλές δισκογραφικές παραγωγές, αλλά και σε μουσικές σκηνές παίζοντας Jazz fusion και rock .
Από το 2010 μέχρι σήμερα εργάζεται στην ορχήστρα του
Νίκου Οικονομόπουλου.

Dimitris Antoniadis
Dimitris Antoniadis was born in Athens in 1975.
At the age of eleven (11) he started his acquaintance with music and the drums in particular as this instrument always caught his attention.
At the age of fifteen (15) he started taking lessons at the “NAKAS MUSIC CONSERVATORY” in Athens with the highly experienced musicians/tutors Nikos Antipas and Spyros Panagiotopoulos, for 5 years.
In the years to follow, he worked with many different musical groups and in many different stages of the Greek musical scene until he reached the age of twenty four (24) when he earns a scholarship by the Berklee College Of Music in Boston USA.
He completed his education at Berklee two years after, having worked in drums and music in general, taught by John Ramsay, Dave Dicenso, Charles Haynes, John Hazilla, Ed Kaspik, Bob Tamagni, Steve Wilkes, Skip Hadden, Richard Flanagan, while in the meantime he attends special clinics with, Louis Nash and Jeff “Tain” Watts.
With his “musical portfolio” full of knowledge and experience having cooperated with great musicians and in different music styles such as Jazz, Funk, Fusion and also Big Band, he took the trip back to Greece where he initiated his professional career playing for well-known and recognized Greek artists and taking part in numerous musical productions and also music scenes playing Jazz, Fusion and Rock music.
Starting 2010 and up to now, he works with the singer
Nikos Oikonomopoulos playing the drums in his band.
